Health Specialist Carmen Garcia Reports On Her Experience Using Acai Berry

Those of you who follow my health and wellness column know that I typically expose the latest weight loss fads and warn my readers against the possible side effects, scams and pyramid schemes. As a news veteran of 15 years who has been covering health and wellness news for more than a decade, I admit I am often skeptical of new health products, which is why this is such a big story for our team.

When our news director Mike Carberry approached me to do an investigative report on the nutritional supplement Acai Berry when combined with a colon cleanser, it started as just another routine story for me.
